This club draws a huge amount of its clientele from the Hotel itself. The clientele is fairly upscale but has recently been re-branding itself as a nightclub centered towards some serious drinking. Catered with Elegant drapery and picturesque furniture characteristic of a Club located in the Bellagio, Light offers a good overall nightclub experience for the beginner to Vegas nightlife. for those seeking a bit more action Lights sister Nightclub JET at the Mirage maybe the place for you.
If you are staying at the Bellagio then Light Nightclub is definitely worth a visit they do a good job of drawing a crowd and dance floor is packed by midnight consistently. Light is one of the first Nightclubs to open in Vegas and rumor has it that a remodeling is on its way to make it one of the largest and most extravagant venues on the Strip but that is still a few years away.
As you make your way pas the door 2 escalators away your entry and port you straight up into the main hallway leading to the dance floor. For some reason the Hallway is longer then the club itself (the Hallway is huge) not sure how they intended to design it originally. When entering the Mainroom the dance floor is centered directly in the middle with VIP table seating located directly on the dance floor and surrounding area.
The Mainroom is a perfect square, the main VIP areas are located on the dance floor and in the elevated platform located next to the main hallway entrance. The Nightclub has 2 main bars and getting drinks isn't to difficult the club is actually quite easy to navigate and the bathrooms are accessible and not overly crowded so Light makes for a pleasant evening.
The club demographic is really mixed as the music it which closely resembles that of Body English with a moderate amount of Hip/Hop, Rock & 80's appeasing any crowd, Bachelor and Bachelorette Party. Light is a great value for venue that won't tire you out by the end of the night and its central strip location gives you access to any Late Night restaurants or after-hours clubs (with Drais across the street) within walking distance.
