Located just off the Strip, in corner of a shopping center juxtapose to the famous FATBURGER restaurant the rebirth of Late Night activity starts here at the Empire Ballroom. Formerly Utopia (The First Nightclub in Vegas) as we call remember years ago, The Ballroom opened its Doors January first to the Late Night Zombies of Vegas looking to finish off their buzz, get one started or for drunks to flirt with the shadow that has been following them around all weekend.
The Location of Empire Ballroom is not in a Strip Hotel but its located directly on the strip and manages to give that old Warehouse feeling like ravers of old used to enjoy so much. Empire Ballroom isn't as elegant as Drais but does play a harder house beat so if your a die hard raver and House is your one enjoyment then this place is for you.
Empire Ballroom is broken down in to 2 mainrooms. The Mainroom which plays strictly break beats/House and the Rock Room! Yes, there is a rock room so those seeking some refuge from the transcendental experience there is a place for you to! Empire opens its doors Thursday-Sunday and crowds are on and off depending on the weekend.
We recommend going VIP and that means sitting your tush in a table for the ladies VIP Admission is available and is recommended if you just want to get your groove on and settle yourself before hitting up the FATBURGER for some late night grub. Reservations are open for Guys/Gals and large groups are welcome call to reserve @ 702 448 6789.
The mainroom has an appearance of an old theatre with red and black drapery, EMPIRE sure gives the appearance of an old school Ballroom. The Main Dance floor is centered in the middle of the club with center stage facing ahead an elevated VIP Lounge on the left side and booths bordering the dance floor to the right for those club goers seeking a little harder house over Drais this is the venue for you.
Popular DJ's are usually found spinning here so its not uncommon to hear some of your favorite house beats by surprise. Empire opens its doors at 2am and the dance floor is usually supporting a large crowd on the weekend by 4am.
Taking you back to the old-school the rock room kicks it with heavy hitting beats from old times and mixes it up for the crowd not playing to much of the metal classics all night. This room is on the 2nd floor and offers a great break for those looking escape the deep pounding base of the house music. You are free to traverse as you like through this room and just chat it up a bit as it is on its way to the balcony where you can catch some early morning rays watching the sunrise.
